Following the recent vote by all our staff, we've decided that our Charity of the Year 2017 will be Children’s Hospice South West.
Each year, we ask our staff to nominate charities that they are passionate about and then ask them to vote for their favourite and this year our clear winner was Children’s Hospice South West.
This local charity provides hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions, whilst also supporting their whole family. They provide this care right across the whole of the South West, with three hospices: Little Bridge House in North Devon, Charlton Farm near Bristol and Little Harbour in mid Cornwall.
We’ve got some big plans for fundraising this year, with Dragon boat racing in Bristol harbour, lots of running events such as the Bristol 10K, the Colour Run, Bubble Rush, Santa's on the Run, a static bike ride at our office and our Annual Charity Quiz night, which is always really popular. These bigger events are mixed in with smaller events such as dress down days each month and bake sales as often as we can persuade our bakers to bake.
We can’t wait to get started!
