Meade King Raises £7,500 For OTR Bristol

Latest news

We’re absolutely delighted to have raised so much money this year for our fabulous Charity of the Year, OTR Bristol.

Off the Record Bristol (OTR) is a mental health social movement by and for young people. The organisation provides mental health support and info to young people aged 11-25 across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

Their services are free, confidential and young people can self-refer, which is so important. They provide a variety of support projects to combat mental and emotional health needs such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, OCD, abuse, eating disorders, family breakdown and substance abuse.

OTR works in schools, colleges and youth clubs to promote good mental health. They see mental health much like physical health - it needs to be looked after and maintained.

We’ve loved supporting OTR Bristol, because they’re doing such vital work with young people in Bristol and South Gloucestershire and because we’ve all really pushed ourselves to do some challenging things.

Campbell ran the London Marathon, Sana, Olivia and Tom did a sky dive from 15,000 feet and Sue ran Tough Mudder.

Along with all the individual efforts, we’ve held book sales, bake sales, dress down days and a quiz night to get to our fabulous total of £7,500.

We all know that OTR Bristol will put the money we’ve raised for them to good use and look forward to our new charity being announced shortly.

Here are some photos from the year.
