Meade King is well known for its prompt and business-like approach when advising clients on matters involving corporate finance. Our goal is to enable them to achieve their aims and maximise their opportunities.

Our department deals with most of the business issues that affect both public and private companies (especially small to medium-sized enterprises) and we have strong relationships with numerous businesses throughout the West Country, Wales, and beyond, including some international businesses that have a regional connection. Our work for these clients covers transactions as diverse as flotations (especially AIM or OFEX), the acquisition or disposal of their businesses (either through share sales or asset transfers), private equity or venture capital finance, bank and asset finance, management buy-outs & buy-ins, reconstructions and reorganisations, corporate venturing and joint ventures generally.

We handle these business issues in an open and straightforward way with our clients, meaning, for instance, that the basis upon which our fees are to be calculated and paid is clear from the outset and that the client is kept informed of costs. Put at its simplest, we can:-

Of course, we are able to draw upon the combined expertise of our commercial property, business recovery, employment and dispute resolution units to offer the most appropriate course of action to all our corporate and commercial clients. In doing so, we act as experienced project managers, making sure that we supervise our lawyers and communicate with our clients in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible.
